Capriciously Romantic
During Miami Symphony orchestra's (MISO) second concert of this season performed at the Lincoln Theatre, on South Beach, those present had the chance to enjoy the concert titled “Capriciously Romantic”
Under the extraordinary leadership of the conductor Eduardo Marturet, the Miami Symphony Orchestra offered a magisterially interpretation of the program that included pieces of Tchaikovsky, Capriccio Italien; Dvorak, Concerto for Cello and Orchestra; and Shostakovich, Symphony No. 9.
One of the best moments of the night was the performance of the Cuban-Ukranian cellist, Anna Litvinenko, her marvelous interpretation made the public stand from their seats to applaud the talent of this young jewel that with just 15 years of age is considered the best musical promise of Miami.
After the concert a group of MISO friends gathered at lower level of the theater to cheer for the wonderful presentation, and congratulate the conductor, that together with his wife Anitha Marturet thanked everybody's manifestation. Among them we found Silvia Fassardi, Italo and Angie Segnini, Reina Venturini, Allan Villafaña, Maria Antonieta Díaz, Michelle Maniaci, Sammy Gicherman, Mariela Malca, Maria Elena Molina, Christian Veron, and other faces... They’re here… so they’re everywhere!
